If you are looking for a more in-depth experience where you get hands-on operating professional grade 16mm camera’s in a real-world scenario then this is for you!
In our 3-day course, we cover a full day of hands-on Camera Technicals / 16mm film fundamentals followed by a full day shooting a themed spec ad with Talent and finally finish up with a third full day on post production including scanning, grading, editing and final delivery.
Each attendee will shoot and edit/grade 100ft (2.5min) of Ektachrome Reversal or B&W Reversal for a 30-45sec spec ad concept and will take home their film along with a 4k UHD scan (alone worth £225!).
Most importantly - it will be a great experience with great people passionate about shooting film!
Places are limited to 8 to ensure adequate 1:1 instructor & hands on camera time.

NOTES:
We will predominantly shoot on our Arri 16 SR on Ektachrome Reversal or B&W Reversal which will stretch your skills on metering and scene lighting / selection.
We will hand-process and scan in 4k 10-bit ready to be cut and graded for final delivery.
You will learn all about 16mm film and film cameras and get real world experience on a live project (pre-prod, prod and post-prod) - we look forward to having you!
